The Reel Tarp
This is something I can't do without. It keeps my reels covered at all times, even in
use. It keeps the reels protected against the sun, sand, dirt, water, everything. Its easy to just pull a rod
out and put another one under. you can flip it back, then in place again in a second. I have two in each boat,
front and back.
Take a piece of aluminum bar, drill holes in it and use screws in these holes to fasten the 10x16" tarp to the boat.
On the other end of the tarp add lead to weight it down. Use lead plating strips, about 1" x 6", fold in half and ribbet to each side of the tarp as shown.
Protects your reels from Sand, Dirt, Sun, Rain, Pop, Coffee, Fish Slime, Bait, Salt, Chemicals, Water Spray.
