Osprey Catching Northern Pike

I was trolling into a creek in Iowa, going through a nice channel in the shallow weed flats, but instead of a fishing pole I had my camera in hand hoping for something, a kingfisher maybe, anything. The kingfisher took off before I could get close, then nothing. Turned around inside the creek and saw the splash, a big splash that only an osprey can make. It was into the sun but I took as many photos as I could while trying to quickly troll out there before it drifted with thye current into the suns glare. It tried several to get out of the water but the fish was too big. It was a big pike. The pike was trying top drown the hawk, and the hawk was trying to get unhooked. Then while hidden in the sun it made it out of the water without the fish. It did a fly over right above me and gave me the eye. The was about the end of my osprey adventures for the year. If I had caught that pike non of it would have happened. I will post the whole series:
