Pool 14 Walleye

Pool 14 is stocked every year and is one of the best pools. Don’t be discouraged by the amount of fisherman, most wingdams are very difficult to fish, and the pool has a lot of deep water lakes and gravel pits and deep water sloughs where walleye may never see a lure.

The wingdams on that pool are shallow on the tops with a lot of current and surrounded by deep water. Most guys cast crankbaits or troll crankbaits. This catches a lot of fish but it can be very difficult. So even though someone just left a spot, I am not afraid to fish it and expect to catch fresh fish that they missed.
