Walleye 101 – Mississippi River

I just uploaded this video. I had to take a break from working on my 2009 Mississippi River DVD. I think I have enough footage for three dvds. It is overwhelming because there is so much. I don’t even know if there will be a dvd at all, but I keep pushing forward. I may just work on the videos themselves, cut back and save as mpegs) instead of AVI)so I can free up some space on my computer. The footage is high quality, and its all in widescreen, otherwise its just jigging wingdams and there isn’t much to offer except watching me catch big fish. I think it could be a ;ong time before I can get what I want, meanwhile I can offer what I am working on as homefootage walleye fishing. It will never be better than my 2007 DVD as far as how to. I really need to rework that one again and try to get in some of this high quality footage. Or I could just make a zillion videos for youtube. Anyway here is another example:

About Dave Tackett

Dave Tackett is from Sterling Illinois. An avid fisherman since childhood, he has fished all over the Midwest, mainly the Mississippi River pools 8-19. His home waters are pools 13 & 14. After fishing Bass tournaments for many years, he gave it up to fish for Walleye year round. He now guides and fishes for fun. He likes to take photos of the scenic places he visits on the river and likes to keep a video camera running to get footage for his Walleye DVDs. Photography is now where he most of his time working, using professional DSLR cameras and lens. These photos include landscape around the Mississippi River and the Rock River, river birds like eagles heron, egrets etc.
