Buying Tackle Supplies On-line

It pays to shop around, I learned that lesson again last week. I bought some fishing terminal tackle on ebay, then found it cheaper at the tackle company, then found I paid way too much in both of those places and found it much cheaper at a tackle supply outlet. Then after order over $100 worth from them I was back in ebay and found I paid way too much for some jig tying material.

The tackle shop was Barlows Tackle, a place I have been buying from for many years, I didn’t know they had an on-line store. I found bucktails on sale in ebay and a pretty cheap price but I would have to buy about 8. I paid about $5 for one in Barlos but ebay had them for about $2 each if I wanted to buy all 8. I have so many now that I really don’t need anymore, except for a couple colors.

I found some material for making jigs called fish hair and I must say, it is like bucktail only much better and easier to work with. It is also much cheaper. I am getting some other material to try but I will be ordering more of this stuff.
