A few recent Walleye

Here is a few Walleye I caught this summer. I had six big Walleyes this day. I started out with a north wind which blew all the grass on the side of the river I wanted to fish. I tried fishing out of the wind, and things were so dead I almost turned around and went right home. There was no minoows or shad anywhere, the fish locator was beepless, showing nothing, no birds flying, dead city. But I stuck it out and went back to fishing in the wind and grass and I was rewarded with six big Walleye and quit before noon. There was other boats running around but not staying in any one place so fishing was tough with the high and muddy water. The grass coming down river almost makes it unfishable and with the wind blowing it to the side of the river I was fishing I am lucky to catch anything. Dodging this grass, which can clump together in masses as big as a house, can be very frustrating and eliminates any cast or night fishing. I caught these fish using my river trolling sinkers and fishead tackle floater:
