I bought a ram card from Kahlon because they had a nice looking website that was able to tell me which card I needed for my computer model. I installed it and of course couldn’t tell the difference because its just ram than may never even be needed about the 2 gigs I already have. Then my comuter got real sick this week, firefox crashed while watching a video and wouldn’t reopen, I couldn’t un-install it; I tried internet explorer but that crashed too and everything I opened crashed. Then it started rebooting on it’s own after about five minutes. I couldn’t get a birus scan more than a quarter way through and it would reboot. I figured I had no choice but to reformat. Well I kept getting blue screens and all kinds of errors and it ended up reformating my 2nd hard-drive and I lost all my content on there. After checking on-line I kept seeing where people were mentioning ram, to be sure it wasn’t a bad card. I thought no way, it’s new and it’s the right one and can’t be bad. But I reluctantly pulled it and all the sudden I had everything back as before, except the 2nd HD which now has windows on it.
I checked out what people were saying about the comany and found they are known for problems like this and they won’t give a refund, only thing you’ll get is trouble from them. So I want to warn people that their site is not what it looks like. I don’t know if they sold me the wrong card or if they sell junk, but it cost me about two days work and all my content on one hard-drive.
