New 50mm Lens

I bought a new 50mm lens for landscape in low light conditions. It is a very fast lens, f1.8, so this will be good for early morning or anytime. It doesn’t have image stabilization, but I shouldn’t need it since its so fast. If I find I do need it I will sell it and next time get a prime lens with is.

With my crop cameras I really need a 20mm to get more in the image, but they cost more so this is a test lens so I can learn more. I also want a new zoom lens for landscape but it costs around $1000 so it will be awhile before I can afford it.

I am getting to know my cameras pretty good, so now I am reading up on taking good photos. I still have a lot to learn, but I’m getting better little by little.
