I just realized something, the reason the fish have been biting funny, hitting short and using stinger hooks versus slamming a jig on the upper pool near the army depot, I think it’s my own fishing pressure, I am trying to catch the fish I already caught or my clients caught. If I go to new spots that I haven’t fished in awhile, they are biting good but if I hit the same spots I already fished within a month or two the fish bite short, come off after getting hooked or bite and won’t take it, having to let them take it in for a minute.
So I would say to all the followers, it is not a good idea to follow me or you will have the same problems. Instead, try to fish spots where other people fish or better yet, find your own spots. Keep in mind I can catch big fish on any wingdam, any pool. Spots really don’t matter, I just like to fish places others don’t because they are too difficult and just not fun. When I guide out I take people to the areas they like to fish and show them how to catch the fish. I will guide in any area or any pool for that matter.
