Fishead Cartoons by Dave Tackett - since 2001

Fishead Fishing Cartoons has been in business since 2001. These cartoons are made by fisherman Dave Tackett, who is also the webmaster, artist, movie maker, tackle inventor and writer of everything seen on this website including Walleye DVDs.

Fisheadtackle is in Sterling Illinois in Sauk Valley along the Rock River. There are over 400 cartoons on Fishead's websites. These include all freshwater fish, camping and the outdoors and they are for all ages.

Fisheadtackle Walleye DVDs

These dvds are made by Dave Tackett who is the fisherman, producer, artist and webmaster. These dvds are filmed mostly on the Mississippi River but one is filmed on Lake Erie. They are mostly Walleye fishing but there are some instructional videos on how to fillet fish and tie jigs.

The fishing is trolling with a kicker motor, electric motor and drifting. This includes open water trolling, wingdam fishing with jigs, casting and drifting spinner-rigs on Lake Erie. You will find some helpful tips include how to use trolling sinkers, slip and clip-on sinkers, using planer boards, how to fish wingdams, where the fish lay and feed around wingdams and much more. These may include diagrams and narrative. If you want to catch more fish, these are for you no matter if your a pro or an amateur. I have been guiding for many years and specialize in big fish.
