I release most all my fish I catch, I only keep about 1 in 1000 so I don't really have many photos since most were release immediately
Pictured above is a wheelbarrel full of Walleye and a big Flathead Catfish. I had a limit of nice Bass that day also but threw them back.
Above: This is a Flathead Catfish caught at the Dixon Dam on the Rock River I caught one February using 6 pound test
line. It took an hour to get it in.
Funny thing, I thought I had a bite but it was snagged so I broke off and re-tied and dropped a new
jig down and got another bite in the same
snag, but this time it wouldn't break so easy and I felt a fish shake its head, and it was indeed a fish. Now I wonder how big that first
fish was that I broke off thinking I was snagged.
It's quite possible it could have rivaled the giant fish hanging over the counter at Obscura Antiques, one of the most well known
pawn shops in NYC.
