How to Launch a Boat
Over 30 years experience launching boats, and many years doing it by myself I came up with a technique that only takes a few seconds to launch.
Hold the rope from the boat in the truck; slowly slide the boat off the trailer and feed out some rope, then start putting pressure on the rope to stop the
boat and slowly pull it back toward the ramp. As it starts to move start pulling the trailer out. After the trailer is out either just drop the rope and let
the boat move into the ramp and go park the truck or stop and get out and pull the boat up on shore and then go park the truck. The latter is better if its
windy or the ramp is crowded.
