This is my entertainment center. It is a monster, it was so big I had to take it back a part to carry it upstairs (but this helped give me
an idea for my student desk). It has Cat proof speaker enclosures, the cats can't see the speakers so they don't try to sharpen their claws on them.
It has compartments for a turntable that slides out, CD player, DVD player, a drawer for tapes, a book shelf and the kitchen sink. It holds a 32"
TV so its days are limited to when we buy a flat screen high def.
Above is my desk right after I built it. It has since grown as I use two computers in my office. Here is a newer picture:
My Room 7/28/2008 This desk is huge, it comes in several sections but it has three large base pieces.
There is a printer compartment to keep my all in one sealed up and dust free. It is extra deep so I can and do pile a lot of stuff on it.
I made this desk for my son and his wife, it is double wide so they could both sit at it together. They have since given it away to make room for a larger one.
This one is small and light and has secret compartments.
This is my student desk I made for my daughter who was living in a third floor apartment in Madison at the time. It is light and strong. She can carry it up to her room by herself
because each section weighs less that 30 pounds. I used aluminum tubing to give it extra strength. It has a compartment for a printer and some secret compartments.
